The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

This is Nintendo's new remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the 1998 Nintendo 64 adventure, rebuilt for Nintendo Switch 2. The story is unchanged. After dreaming of Ganondorf pursuing Princess Zelda, Link sets out to help her, protect the Triforce and save Hyrule, playing as both a child and a young adult. The remake replaces the original's polygonal look with a stylised-realism art direction and redesigns Link, Saria and Navi. It adds free camera control, a dedicated jump, dashing in place of rolling, optional motion aiming and a hint feature called Threads of Time.

It was dated during the Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct and launches exclusively on Switch 2 on 5 November 2026.
