Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is a Paramount+ series created by Gaia Violo and set in the 32nd century, the far-future era of the franchise introduced in Star Trek: Discovery, as Starfleet and the Federation rebuild after a catastrophe. It follows a new class of cadets chasing a shared dream of becoming Starfleet officers while dealing with friendships, rivalries, first loves and a new threat to the Academy. Holly Hunter plays the Academy's captain and chancellor and Paul Giamatti the season's villain, with Robert Picardo returning as the Doctor and Tig Notaro as Jett Reno. The ten-episode first season premiered on 15 January 2026, and Paramount+ had already renewed the show for a second season.
