007 First Light

007 First Light is a third-person action-adventure game from IO Interactive, the Danish studio behind Hitman, which also publishes it. It is an original origin story for James Bond, following a young recruit as he works towards earning his 00 status, mixing stealth, gadgets, improvisation and set-piece action in the spirit of the films.

Originally planned for March 2026, the game was delayed by two months and released on 27 May 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Nintendo Switch 2 version was split off from that launch and, after further delays, is now scheduled for March 2027.
