Age of Mythology: Retold

Age of Mythology: Retold is a modern remake of the classic mythological real-time strategy game, published by Xbox Game Studios and developed by World's Edge with Forgotten Empires, Tantalus Media and partners. Players pick gods from the Greek, Norse, Egyptian and Atlantean pantheons, build an economy and army, and call on divine powers such as lightning storms and earthquakes. They also field mythical units including centaurs, trolls and cyclopes. It includes a 50-mission campaign plus skirmish, co-op and competitive multiplayer.

It released on PC and Xbox Series X|S on 4 September 2024, including Game Pass. A PlayStation 5 version followed on 4 March 2025 alongside the Immortal Pillars expansion, which draws on Chinese mythology.
