Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is Activision's next Modern Warfare game, developed by Infinity Ward. Its campaign centres on the Korean Peninsula, following Private Park, a young South Korean soldier seeing combat for the first time, with Captain Price returning and missions also reaching New York, Paris and Mumbai.

Multiplayer launches with 12 new core maps plus Gunfight and larger Big War maps, and the DMZ extraction mode returns. It is built for current-generation hardware only, with no PlayStation 4 or Xbox One versions, and will not be on Game Pass at launch. It is due on 23 October 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also announced.
