Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a full remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag from 2013, led by Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft. Ubisoft describes it as the series' first remake, rebuilt on the current Anvil engine rather than simply remastered.
Players again take the role of Edward Kenway, captain of the Jackdaw, sailing the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy and caught up in the conflict between Assassins and Templars. The remake adds new story arcs around Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, reworked stealth and combat with parrying, dynamic weather and fewer loading screens. It is a solo game with no multiplayer, released on 9 July 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
