Shinobi: Art of Vengeance

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is a 2D action platformer that revives Sega's long-running ninja series, developed by Lizardcube, the studio behind Streets of Rage 4, and published by Sega. Players control the ninja master Joe Musashi, who returns home to find his village burned and his clan turned to stone, and sets out for revenge. Its hand-drawn stages mix fast, combo-based combat using a katana, kunai and ninja magic with platforming, oversized bosses and hidden paths.

The game launched on 29 August 2025 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. A native Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on 24 September 2026, alongside a Deluxe Edition with a stage featuring Sega villains.
