Xbox One

Microsoft's eighth-generation home console, launched in November 2013. It was followed by the smaller Xbox One S in 2016 and the more powerful Xbox One X in 2017. The generation introduced Xbox Game Pass and the backward compatibility programme that brought Xbox 360 and original Xbox games to newer hardware. Its library carries forward to Xbox Series X|S, and some new games still release on Xbox One alongside the newer consoles.
