Sonic X Shadow Generations

Sonic X Shadow Generations is a two-part package from Sega's Sonic Team. The first part is a remaster of Sonic Generations, a time-travelling adventure that pairs Classic and Modern Sonic across 2D and 3D versions of stages from the series' history, with updated visuals and new extras. The second is Shadow Generations, a new standalone campaign for Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow journeys into his past to stop the returning Black Doom, using new Doom Powers and exploring an open hub world inspired by Sonic Frontiers.

It launched on 25 October 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on 5 June 2025.
